This year's exhibition features portraits of well-known Australians including Deborah Conway, Anthony Mundine and Jenny Morris. This year's winner of the $35,000 prize is Cherry Hood for her portrait
Simon Tedeschi unplugged depicting acclaimed Australian pianist Simon Tedeschi. The Victorian Arts Centre has programmed several free events in conjunction with The Archibald Prize including an artist discussion panel, floor talks in the gallery, a children's portrait prize and the annual People's Choice Awards.
