Bring on the Night

Paying homage to The Police & Sting

ContempreeCalderazzo Entertainment proudly present BRING ON THE NIGHT - Paying homage to The Police & Sting for one night only on Friday 18 May at The Basement, Sydney. After the success of their recent shows at Sydney Olympic Park including the Music By Moonlight "Knockin' On Heavens' Door" Bob Dylan show that attracted an audience of 7,500 and the recent Acoustica at the Armory Showcase, CCEntertainment present their first show for 2007 at the Basement.

After selling out their celebrations of Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and The Beatles at the Basement last year CCEntertainment pay homage to the words and music of the iconic Police & Sting (who recently performed at The Grammys).

The Police infused reggae and jazzy drumming with rock and pop to create a sound that made them one of the world's biggest bands. From this came the signature hits Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, Walking On The Moon, Roxanne and Every Breath You Take whilst Sting has since forged a stellar solo career that spawned the likes of Englishman In New York, Russians and We'll Be Together.

The night will feature vocal performances by Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Marty Worrall (Australian Idol), Brydon Stace, Spencer Jones, Michelle Martinez and Evelyn Duprai (Paul MacEON). These fine performers are to be accompanied by a superb house band including Peter Northcote, Joseph Calderazzo, Emile Nelson, Paul Najar, Jared Underwood and Matthew Ottignon. Bring on this night!
