Well it's true! So get baking gals' and enjoy! YUM!
FAT FREE Chocolate Cake RECIPE:Ingredients:
1 ½ cups Plain Flour
½ cup Oat Flour
1 cup Splenda Sugar
½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 ¼ cups Buttermilk
1 Egg White
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
Method:- Preheat your oven to 190C
- Lightly grease a standard size cake tin with some non-stick cooking spray like Pure & Simple.
- In a large bowl combine the flours, splenda, cocoa powder and baking soda. Mix it well.
- In a separate bowl, using a whisker, combine the buttermilk, egg white and vanilla.
- Pour the buttermilk mixture into the flour mixture and mix until smooth.
- Pour the mix into the cake tin and bake for about 30 minutes or until it passes the standard knife in the middle test.
- Invest onto a cooling rake and allow it to cool.
- This cake can be eaten warm or cold. It will keep in an airtight container for about a week. If it goes stale just zap it in the microwave for 20 seconds.
- I also use this mix to make muffins in my Beville Muffin Magic maker. It will also work in an ordinary muffin tray.
