Spring has sprung at Centennial Parklands

Spring into the Centennial Parklands with a range of family-friendly activities, such as the inaugural Father's Day Festival, camping in Park After Dark and the spectacular Sydney Youth Orchestra with Classics in the Park.

Centennial Park will be hosting IMF Warrior Run and the famous Blak Markets at the first ever Father's Day Festival on the 2 September. Come along for the run in the morning before exploring the Blak Markets in the afternoon. Try bushfood fresh from the BBQ, join an artist workshop to learn traditional arts, watch a warrior dance and so much more.

Ever wanted to try camping, but afraid to adventure out into the great unknown? Look no further with Park after Dark. Centennial Park is bringing all the joys of outdoor activities to the heart of Sydney, where visitors will enjoy a fully catered experience, nocturnal wildlife tours, campfire stories and more s'mores than you can possibly eat. Join the Parkland Educators for a fun night under the stars, learn the ropes of camping in a close, convenient way and be the first to visit the Park in the morning.

Classics in the Park returns as the Sydney Youth Orchestra teams up with the Parklands to present a concert for all ages, set against the stunning backdrop of Centennial Park's Federation Valley. Bring the whole family and a picnic and hear classical music, movie theme tunes, musical theatre and Disney blockbusters played by a great orchestra.

All this and more is on offer at the Centennial Parklands. Check out our Spring What's On and school holiday events on our website here.
