Compelling alt-country duo Miles and Simone share new heartbreaker ballad -Never Leave' from their second album Dance with me for a While, and announce a run of launch shows in celebration in Melbourne, Sydney, and Hobart this September and October.
Having just completed a regional Victorian tour, presented by RAV (Regional Arts Vic) and their 'Home Sweet Home' Sunday residency at the Yarra Hotel, -Never Leave' showcases the pair's immaculate harmonies and magic chemistry. Inspired by that sparking moment when you meet a new lover, Miles and Simone deliver an accidental love song with lyrical warmth and originality.

Former Rackette from Clairy Browne and the Bangin' Rackettes, opera and cabaret star, creator of critically acclaimed cabaret The Lovebirds, and most recently the immersive feminist work Time of Life, a hit at this year's Dark Mofo, Simone Page Jones distills her theatrical prowess to this nuanced and delicate project. Her charming partner in crime Miles O'Neil is a founding member of award-winning 'junkyard theatre" trio and band, The Suitcase Royale. O'Neil's brooding charisma on stage balances Page-Jone's playful antics, the discrepancy in their height further highlighting the duet's vastly different dispositions and vocal ranges. When they aren't rustling each other's feathers and sharing stories with humour, pathos and whisky aplenty - there are moments of pure connection, when their voices lock in and you catch yourself floating, even if for a moment, in pure bliss.
Miles and Simone have shared stages with some of Australia's most revered artists including Clairy Browne and the Bangin' Rackettes, Tinpan Orange and Harry James Angus amongst others. They have enthralled audiences at national arts and music festivals including Melbourne International Arts Festival, Brisbane World Theatre Festival, Darwin Festival, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Falls Festival, the famous Spiegeltent and most recently sold out shows at FOPA.
Miles and Simone are set to once again to charm Melbourne audiences in Tasmania, Melbourne, and Sydney as part of their 'Never Leave - the Southern Tour'.
