INTERVIEW
1. How did it feel to hear your song played all over the airwaves?
Hearing your songs on the radio is always a good feeling, especially knowing that a lot of people are hearing it at the same time. Juggernaut hasn't really received a great deal of radio support so far, hopefully that will change with the release 'HEAD IN THE CLOUDS' and the next single 'BLEED'

2. Did you have any pre-conceived ideas about the music industry?
Before I started my previous band JUICE I was quite young and perhaps a little naive going into the industry but I didn't have any pre conceived ideas about it at all. If anything my opinions formed following hands on experience of extensive touring and recording.

3. Do you write your own songs? What's your inspiration?
Yes. My brother also writes in the band. Inspiration can come from different things, each song is unique. Sometimes it can come from loneliness and sometimes it can come from love and sometimes it just comes from jamming out a song with the band. There is no set formula, it's different every time.

4. What music/artists do you listen to when you are not playing your own?
Juggernaut is a very versatile rock band. We play ballads, acoustic and hard rock. But when I am at home I tend to try to get away from the rocky stuff. I actually listen more to Motown, soul, funk and on occasion rock. This gives me a fresh perspective every time I play with the band. As a teenager I listened to a lot of Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd etc, those bands will always be the main influences of Juggernaut.

5. What's next? Tour/Album/Single?
Juggernaut has just recorded the drums and bass for the next album. We're in the process of getting the single 'BLEED' finished ASAP for radio, we are looking at releasing 'BLEED' around November. The rest of the album will be available for release sometime early next year. Juggernaut will be touring the UK in November/December this year which will be followed by a national tour of our own in the new year.

6. Was there a moment you contemplated throwing in the towel?
There have been many times I've contemplated that. Juggernaut have been releasing material worthy of airplay for over 4 years without any support up until about 6 months ago. Normally this would destroy a band because you can't tour, you can't afford to record another album, and this has been the demise of many great unknown Aussie bands. The only reason Juggernaut is still going is because I am so thick skinned and regardless of the lack of support I still love playing, and I believe that you can't keep a good thing down for too long.

7. Do you prefer performing live or recording?
Both of them are extremely enjoyable. Recording is fantastic because you have the freedom to layer various instruments that you might not be able to do live. Performing live is so rewarding as you get an immediate buzz from the crowd. It's a great feeling.

8. What/who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?
My father was a musician, and my brother and I have played guitar since I was 5 years old. When I was in Year 12 I was already in a working band that was peforming around the Sydney circuit so it was a very smooth transition from school into the industry.

9. What is the biggest challenge you have faced along the way to your musical success?
The biggest challenge that I have faced and continue to face is staying positive in an industry that doesn't support unsigned acts.

10. What's a typical day like?
A typical day for me would be spent in my studio either demoing new material or recording for the next release for Juggernaut. I also do production work for other artists.

11. What has been your favorite part of becoming a music artist?
The journey.

12. If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?
At the moment I am i the band I want to be in. My brother is an amazing musician and I have just joined forces with Mitchell Anderson [keyboard] who will be joining Juggernaut on the next album. I am very excited about this. As far as a famous artist, I've always been a big fan of Chris Cornell [Soundgarden] and Chris Robinson from the Black Crowes.

13. Are you single? What do you look for in a partner?
No. I'm in a relationship. I look for someone who can make me laugh and has a good time.

14. Do you have a website fans can visit?
Yes we do. Check it out. www.juggernaut.net.au

15. Can you tell us 5 things required for a happy healthy & enjoyable life?
1/Good music
2/Good friends
3/Good sex
4/Good food
5/Good wine

16. What message would you like to say to your fans?
Don't believe the hype. Go and check out independent music and make up your own mind. Get out there to some local gigs and support live music.
