Final Symphony Music from Final Fantasy

This September, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will perform the award-winning music of one of the world's most renowned video game franchises with the Australian premiere of Final Symphony: Music from FINAL FANTASY.

This special event at Hamer Hall, under the masterful baton of conductor Eckehard Stier, celebrates the work of composers Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu and features stunning orchestral suites based on the music from FINAL FANTASY VI, VII and X. Fans can look forward to an evening of heart-stirring emotion, including arrangements such as the beautiful FINAL FANTASY X piano concerto, performed by pianist Katharina Treutler who previously recorded the piece with the London Symphony Orchestra for 2015's chart-topping Final Symphony album.

The showpiece of the concert is a 45-minute symphony based on FINAL FANTASY VII. This pure celebration of the famed melodies is sure to indulge fans and evoke memories of the game world and its accompanying excitement.

With sell out concerts across the globe, Final Symphony offers a new kind of orchestral concert experience, not just for game fans, but for anyone who simply loves beautiful music interpreted in a unique artistic manner.
