From the four piece pop rock band that brought you the hugely popular -It's Not About You', comes a fresh new single ready to take over the airwaves and rock your socks off!

Because They Can are thrilled to announce the release of their second single, -Pretty Boy Floyd', available on iTunes, a song about a 1920's gangster and the complexity of human nature.

'The song symbolises the internal conflict we have with our past self and our present self," Because They Can lead vocalist and guitarist Eddie Kemp says.

'Although we may be burdened by the regret of past actions, we need to accept and embrace our past for what it was in order to find peace and move on."

With complex lyrics and super catchy melody hook combined with the level of instrumental skill and talent Because They Can display, it is hard to believe the young band members are only 19 years old.

'Not only are they talented and possess a strong work ethic with a level of maturity that is not often come across in their age group, they truly pride themselves on creating a new sound for their generation and have that -Oasis' essence to them, which can be heard in -Pretty Boy Floyd'," band manager Chris Johns says.

Following the success of their EP -Alive', which debuted at #14 on the ARIA charts in February, Because They Can hit the road with their national -Alive Tour' and have continued to build a loyal live following with 18+ shows at various venues across Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, with a major support in May on the Tonight Alive tour.

With their social media stats continuing to build (338,700 across Facebook, YouTube and Twitter), Because They Can's success is expected to grow with the release of their highly anticipated second single and upcoming live performances at Sydney's hottest new rock night, -Ziggy Pop', at Oxford Street's Spectrum.
