Mirra
Sassy, Sexy & Confident, meet Mirra.

My music has evolved from humble beginnings. From belting my lungs out as a new born, to quickly becoming the family 'ham', my place on the concert stage was established at the age of two. The first chapter in my life opened a door which took me to new heights, starting with the respected Johnny Young Talent School and soon after their exclusive performance troupe Melbourne Young Company.

From this opportunity, I gained a vast array of credits and experiences early on, including; commercials, voice over work, both as singer and presenter, modeling work, coupled with television appearances, and live performances at major Australian festivals such as Moomba and The Melbourne Show. These experiences paved the way for leading roles in theatre productions such as Michael Gow's 'Away', Oklahoma, Gigi, Sweet Charity and South Pacific, to name a few.

Having gained a coveted place at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts, I achieved a Bachelor of Music Performance with Honours, and soon received the Murray Vagg Vocal Scholarship for my interpretations of singing demanding Arias from Opera. My credibility as a reliable and consistent artist saw many guest appearances; as soloist with orchestra at a series of Bach Cantata's, the State Theatre of Victoria, the Melbourne Concert Hall, as part of the Shakespeare festival (2003), and repeatedly returned for performances at the exclusive Athenaeum club on Collins.

I have enjoyed appreciative audiences throughout a European Performance tour, and through recording the film score for 'With What Caution', and the premier performance of the new Opera 'Deaths Messengers' (2002).

This brings us full circle to the well versed woman who presents herself to you. Most recently, to further my craft, I have turned my hand to television hosting. From which I have learnt the ropes quickly and been claimed to relax my subjects with ease and through my down to earth nature, to get the best of every situation.

During one of these commercial exploits I was recognized at a casting by respected producer Michael Puskas, CEO of MMI Entertainment Australia. Our immediate interaction quickly created a bond which has since escalated to an opportunity as host on one of the companies new youth lifestyle programs 'Shred the Planet' which will begin shooting over summer 2003.

My easygoing style in front of the camera has culminated in many new casting opportunities and I have been short listed for a number of supporting roles which include the short film 'Club Cassinova' among others.

Together with management, I have discovered the important intersection between music, film, and television. My intention is to bring all these artistic elements together, which continue to shape my creative endeavors and cement my future.

My first album is currently undergoing an extensive process of collaboration with some of the top writers from the U.S. This production will undoubtedly showcase my love of performance and entertaining. This endeavor opens a new chapter that I have yet to write, and I hope that you can help me realize my full potential.

My time has come, are you ready to see why?
