The bra whisper's top tips for your first date ahead of the Bachelorette.
Boobs, Bachie, Bras. Finding the right bra for you can be just as stressful as finding the love of your life, as Sophie Monk will find out when she enters the Bachelorette mansion this week.
To help women of all shapes and sizes, Triumph's own Osher Gunsberg, fitting expert Paula Svoboda, has provided the latest bra do's and don't's for your first date.
Having fitted over 50,000 women, Paula has been aptly crowned 'the bra whisperer' and has some simple insights to help you find 'the one' bra.
On a mission to ensure every woman has the perfect first date, here are Paula's Do's for finding the perfect bra match:
Choose the right bra not only for your size but also for your skin colour:
Olive skin tone - metallics
Pale skin tone- oranges and reds
When in doubt black is timeless and suits everyone!
If you want a natural, rounded look go for a t-shirt bra or seamed cut and sew style bra from the Amourette range. For a little more va va voom and lift go for a padded style bra from Triumph's Magic Boost range
The classic bend and snap. When trying on your bra you must give it the real life test by bending once or twice to make sure they don't come out.
Get a fitting. You should get professionally fitted every 6-12 months. Your body is constantly changing, and without a properly fitting bra, you compromise your comfort and support.
Paula's guide to avoiding those first date boobie traps:
Roses are red, the bachie is keen, but tragically, your bra can be seen….you don't want to be bulking out of the cup at all. If you can see your bra cup through your clothing it means the bra is too small for you!
Stay clear of uncomfortable underwire and make sure it isn't pressing on the breast tissue at all (if it is then it means your bra is too small)
Invest in your boobs. Don't be afraid to spend some money on a good quality bra that fits correctly. A good fitting bra makes you stand a little taller and that's worth the investment!
