Will & Held

Purveyors of undefined UK sounds, new London imprint Vim & Vigour opens the batting with a two track EP from Yorkshire lads Will & Held featuring a powerful rework from Tom Demac, premiered this week by Thump.

Using a strictly analogue approach, emerging duo Will & Held and their brand of UK electronica is seamlessly in tune with the Vim & Vigour aesthetic, both sides of EP001 -Mend' and -Close' a moody excursion into richly layered textures and dusty electronics. Paired with a Tom Demac rework and pressed to the highest quality vinyl with bespoke artwork and film, V&V EP001 is an essential purchase for the more leftfield inclined.

Will Berridge and former drum and bass producer Richard Meller aka Will & Held first entered the scene under that alias with a techno release on Spinning Plates back in February, and Vim & Vigour has proven the ideal platform for a more inward exploration into electronica. Aus/Hypercolour mainstay Tom Demac is known for his brute force analogue techno with melodic twists and delivers a heavy duty remix that takes -Mend' to the dancefloor…

Vim & Vigour is a new London based imprint focused on producing unique 12" records accompanied by original photography and a series of bespoke films.
