What So Not and George Maple Buried

Ahead of their Australian tours, long time collaborators What So Not and George Maple today announce new single -Buried', accompanied by an incredibly shot video.  -Buried' follows the pairs 2015 monster hit -Gemini' and features ascendant Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune who has recently collaborated with the likes of Four Tet and Toro Y Moi. What So Not and George Maple continue to thrill and excite in equal measure, once again showcasing their perfect synchronicity on -Buried'.  Maple's velveteen vocal glides over Rome Fortune's verses before pulling powerfully into focus on the chorus and What So Not further cements his status as one of the most exciting producers in the world.  -Buried' was written by What So Not, George Maple and Rome Fortune and produced by What So Not and THC(Kendrick Lamar, Drake). Dark and powerful, the track centers on a mind coming to terms with its inner turmoil.  In their own words; "We're all guilty of our vices. Whether a flickering thought or a lifestyle, our obsession with fame, money, sex & power drives a paradox of wonderful & horrible behavior."

The video was co-directed by Leticia Dare (who recently worked with Maple on the hyper real -Sticks and Horses' video) and Andrew O'Toole and creatively developed in collaboration with What So Not and George Maple. It entirely embodies the aforementioned themes, with the pair submerged and suspended underwater, at times perfectly at peace, at others chained and in struggle.

Both What So Not and George Maple are about to embark on epic tours on their home turf of Australia.  This month sees What So Not (who's recent hit -Lone' with GANZ ft. JOY. blew away crowds on the recent Groovin the Moo tour) continue to tour globally before returning to Australia with a colossal double headline tour with Sweat It Out label mate, DJ and Fool's Gold head honcho, A-Trak which will also feature Rome Fortune. Maple has already sold out shows in London, L.A, New York and across Australia, most recently at Coachella where she appeared with What So Not. She takes her imitable live show on the road across headline dates in July.
