Watermelon and Mint Gin with Tonic

Watermelon and Mint Gin with Tonic

World Gin Day is Saturday 8th of June and in our humble opinion, there are very few things in this world that compare to the refreshing superpowers of Kilderkin's core range Larrikin Gin. After-all, it's scientifically proven that gin drinkers are sexier!

Ingredients
40ml Larrikin Scoundrel London Dry
30ml Fresh Lime Juice (approx. half lime juiced)
6 Fresh Mint Leaves
1 Cup Fresh Watermelon flesh
150ml Chilled Tonic Water
Ice

Method
Add one cup of fresh watermelon flesh & 4 mint leaves to blender and pulse until blended smoothly.
Add blended watermelon and mint to a cocktail shaker with Larrikin Scoundrel London Dry, fresh lime juice, ice and then shake.
Pour and strain into a hiball glass with 3 ice cubes and top with chilled tonic water.
Stir and garnish with a wedge of watermelon and 2 fresh mint leaves.

Based in the heart of Ballarat, Kilderkin Distillery has generated a lot of buzz, giving connoisseurs another reason to visit the inland city... the first of its kind since 1930!

Larrikin Gin's core range includes 4 gins that are perfect for drinking solo, or mixing up; Scoundrel - with botanical and citrus notes, Original Larrikin - spices and native botanicals, Buccaneer - juniper and added hit of limes, and Barrel Aged Gin - oaky nuances and softened juniper. This World Gin Day/Long Weekend bonanza, there is no better excuse to mix up a G&T or get those creative juices flowing and mix up your own gin-tastic creation.
