W Retreats in Asia Pacific has shaken up the fashion scene once again with its latest collaboration with Australian designer swimwear label, We Are Handsome. Created with W Hotels' guests in mind, the exclusive capsule collection takes inspiration from the electrifying nature and glowing marine life surrounding the four W Retreats in Asia Pacific including W Retreat & Spa, Maldives, W Retreat Koh Samui, W Retreat & Spa Bali, Seminyak and the soon-to-open W Goa. The swimwear capsule collection will feature We Are Handsome's signature women's scoop one piece and men's boardshorts, which are unique to the collection. The limited edition swimwear is now available via We Are Handsome's website and W The Store at all W Retreats in Asia Pacific.

Katinka and Jeremy Somers, owners and founders of We Are Handsome, spent time at the W Retreats in Bali, Koh Samui and Maldives to draw inspiration from the properties and W Hotels' guests. The result is a vibrant custom design, an interpretation of the colours, textures and glowing elements of the W Retreats and their natural surroundings at twilight, featuring a combination of a Chrysaora jellyfish and different hues of electrifying blues and purples.

'We took our inspiration for the collection from the energy which ebbs and flows through the resorts when the sun sets, the stars come out and nature starts to glow. At the centre of the design, the Chrysaora jellyfish print plays tribute to the vibrant, unique and spectacular life force that surrounds the retreats
The design backdrop draws on the rising of the stars in the night sky over the retreats, coupled with the fluorescent light of the plankton and marine life in the surrounding oceans
The electrifying palette of blues and purples reflect the unique, vibrant and playful personality of the W brand and the classic swimsuit shapes depict W Hotels' contemporary resort glamour
The overlying, glow in the dark elements in the design are borrowed from the recent restyling of W Maldives, which lends its theme 'Let it Glow" from the Indian Ocean's colourful marine life, twinkling stars and fluorescent plankton. At W Maldives guests can dive into paradise, where it's all about them.
