The Reclink Community Cup 2018

The Reclink Community Cup 2018

Reclink Australia is thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for Melbourne's favourite annual fundraising event of the year. The Reclink Community Cup will return to Collingwood's Victoria Park on Sunday 24th June, 2018.

Music and footy come together in perfect harmony once again at the 2018 Reclink Community Cup. Reigning champs the Rockdogs will defend their title against the mighty Megahertz, while some of the country's best musicians take care of the pre and post-match entertainment.

"Once again in the depth of Melbourne's winter our heats will be warmed by the passion and energy that the Rockdogs and Megahertz bring to the annual iconic event - the Reclink Community Cup." says Reclink Australia's CEO, John Ballis. "Reclink Australia is grateful for the generosity and support provided by our event partners community radio stations Triple R and PBS and the Rockdogs; and our national sponsors the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation and Young Henry's".

Jumping on-board for the first time in 2018, the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation will bolster the event as a major sponsor; 'The Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation is proud to support this iconic Reclink event, which encourages people to participate in community activities and enjoy them for the inclusion and experiences they offer. Terrific competitions like the Reclink Community Cup demonstrate to kids that sport and betting do not have to go together. It's about shifting the focus back to loving the game, not the odds." says Louise Glanville of the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.

Funds raised through the Reclink Community Cup support Reclink Australia's work with disadvantaged communities across Australia. Reclink Australia delivers specialist sport, recreation and arts programs for at-risk youth, people with mental illness or disability, people experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, and those facing alcohol, gambling and substance addictions. From its inception back in 1993, the Melbourne event now rallies more than 10,000 avid followers who collectively raise over $200,000 every year for the cause.

After a complete sell-out in 2017, punters are advised to pre-purchase their tickets for the cup well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Tickets to the Melbourne Reclink Community Cup now on sale via Oztix communitycup.oztix.com.au - $20 incl fees online, $20 at the gate.
