With nearly 100k plays on Soundcloud and a Hypemachine #9 to its name, the atmospheric sophomore single from M, has now been transformed into an equally moving video clip.
Jubilant wonder frames the epic vistas of a Scottish landscape throughout the clip with Emile Frederick, director of the video, saying, 'Szymon's music is so otherworldly but also really honest and humble and I felt any visual depictions needed to find that same balance…
The setting is in an alternate reality where the Sun rises every 23 years and hence the magic of a sunrise is not diminished by its common occurrence. I loved the experience and reveled in the opportunity to add pictures to Szymon's music."
-Golden' follows on from the stirring debut, -Katyusha', and is set to feature on his upcoming album Tigersapp out later this year. Mixed by Rusty Santos (Animal Collective, Owen Pallett) and Ian Pritchett (Angus & Julia Stone).
A bright, brilliant talent, young Newcastle artist, Szymon Borzestowski worked tirelessly through 2008, honing his production skills on Fruity Loops, Borzestowski built lush layers of guitar, bass, woodwind, drums, synth and samples in his humble home-studio, under the moniker of his first name. Whilst Szymon lost his long-running struggle with depression at the age of 23, -Golden' still proves to be a stunningly hopeful offering and remains timeless in its sound.
Tigersapp will be released by a new label Eloper Music set up especially for this release by respected industry A&R men Craig Hawker and Mark Holland.
