Sudo's Stylin' Summer Statements

This Spring Summer Sudo kids will be stylin', with statement pieces that rock! This designer childrenswear collection, direct from the catwalk, encompasses all the key trends for adults, but in stylish kids clothing. Celebrity bohemian style, punk rock tie dye, a dash of 50's greaser and fashion forward inspirations are all blended together to create the Sudo look. A collection of stylish clothing just for girls and boys aged 2 to 12.

This summer, directional fashion pieces meet with style flashbacks. The Sudo 2010/11 collection encapsulates modern cutting edge, entwined with memories of sunny days, making daisy chains, riding bikes and dress ups in your parent's closet. Each piece is expertly constructed, using only the finest fabrics and exudes the quality that sets Sudo designs apart from the rest.

The girl's collection uses superfine fabrics, delicate floral prints, patchwork, crochet, fringing and frills. The subtle colour palette, non-conforms to traditional children's clothing colours with ink, rust, coral and salmon, red and dusk blue. Key pieces include the Georgia Maxi Dress, available in passion flower print or Caribbean Sea, to make any day a holiday. The Tyler contrast dress ticks all the style boxes in steel and sand, or grape and violet. For spirited girls who won't sit still, there is a range of sleek jumpsuits. Choose from the Alexa Short in retro prints, the Shelby denim styles or the Carla full jumpsuit for cool cats. Other statement pieces include, the Frankie crochet vest and Gloria and Billie and super tubes in tie dye, ensign blue or phantom grey. As well as knickerbockers, shorts, tanks, jeans and T-shirt dress, all in styles that yummy mummies will wish they could fit into!

The boy's collection is edgy but wearable, with fine stripes, checks, feather prints, tie-dye and denim. The colour palette of grape, pewter, desert, burnt orange and white is anything but conservative. Key trends include the Ryder denim jacket and skinny rocker jeans for your stylish little man. Grandpa hoodies and shirts, as well as waistcoats can be paired with the super repaired jeans for a lived in, laidback vibe. For the smarter young man there is a modern range of dress shirts in prints or check with trim detail. Or fashion forward tees in split combo prints, layered style or the forester feather print tee. The boy's collection is just so sharp, it hurts!

In its second season, Sudo shoes are just kicking! The boy's sneaker range includes Hi and Lo tops in denim, canvas and nappa leather. For a formal look, there are the Dustin Desert boots in light grey or midnight suede or the Sonny dress sandals in soft nappa leather in black or brown. The girl's shoe collection caters for tomboy tearaways and style princesses. Audrey Lo top sneakers are as 'street' as they come but in flamingo pink and lilac for a touch of girlie. The ballet pump range has grown to include silver, hot pink and grape as well as sophisticated bronze and black. Last but not least, to die for gladiator sandals, Roman thongs and boho boots will have every fashion stylist green with envy!

"This season is going to be huge, this collection is our biggest and best yet. We have added loads of new styles to the shoe collection as well. We think we must be doing something right, because everyone keeps asking us to make adult sizes!" said Terry Lay Sudo Designer.

The Sudo 2010/11 spring/summer collection is sure to be a big hit with the kids, and parents alike. A perfect blend of vintage inspired pieces, tie-dyed prints and punk-rock tubes, mixed with a modern bohemian feel. A range that will make you crave summer even when it's long gone.
