Sony Music Entertainment Australia is excited to announce that Melbourne rock outfit, Strangers, have released their first single, -Mirrorland' from their forthcoming 2017 album.
The Melbourne 4 piece have been working on the follow up to their 2012 debut Persona Non Grata with acclaimed producer and fellow musician Tom Larkin (Shihad, Calling All Cars, The Getaway Plan).
Ben Britton (vocals) commented on the single, "The song Mirrorland is in a sense a purge of anxious and fear driven thought. This is rock bottom. This is not being able to function. This is not being able to get out of bed. And this is not being able to see anything positive in life. It was a scary place to be." Mark Barnes (Guitar) adding, "Mirrorland was the last song we wrote for the album. The majority of the riffs came up during pre-production for other songs and I think because of that it's a nice snapshot of the overall theme"
The band that are known for their energetic and punchy live shows, will be hitting the road as main support on the Birds Of Tokyo's tour throughout November and December, with headline dates of their own lined up for the new year.
