Platinum-selling band Sister Hazel marks their 30th band anniversary with their highly awaited full-length 13th studio album, Sand, Sea & Crash Debris. Produced and mixed by Ben Jackson at East End Studio in Nashville, TN, the album is being distributed by Rock Ridge Music, a Nashville-based label. It is now available across all major digital and streaming platforms with options for fan bundles, as well as physical CD and vinyl editions.
Lead singer, Ken Block expressed to Cincy Music, "I think we're more excited about these tracks than anything we've done in a while." From the very first moments of the album, listeners are immediately struck by the distinct personalities of each of the Sister Hazel band members. After three decades of performing and writing together, each voice is uniquely compelling and powerfully emotive, showcasing the band's mastery in wielding their craft with subtlety. It's a dynamic interplay of knowledge and understanding, ultimately presenting a portrayal of love shaped by experience. Bassist Jett Beres explained to LaGrange Daily News, "We create music from the heart and see ourselves as storytellers."
Featuring a diverse track list, the album's ten tracks are an immersive guide for listeners through personal and introspective experiences, exploring themes of vulnerability, love, growth, and renewal. Block further shares his enthusiasm for the album, stating, "This time, our studio mantra was, 'Let's have FUN.' We aimed to swing for the fences, keep things fresh, and throw out the rule book!"
