Plaitum LMHY

Plaitum have debuted the mesmerizing video for their acclaimed new song 'LMHY" overnight. The single is the lead track from their debut self-titled EP, due for release on 4 December via Wolf Tone / Caroline Australia, in digital and limited edition 12-inch vinyl formats.

 

 

Signed to Paul Epworth's label Wolf Tone, 20-year-old London based duo Plaitum are currently making waves with -LMHY', which is available to stream and download now and is also an instant grat for those pre-ordering the EP via iTunes. A stunning remix of the song by Tri Angle's (home to AlunaGeorge, How To Dress Well and more) genre-defying electronic artist Rabit is also available now.

 

-LMHY' marks Plaitum's first return to the scene since their wildly popular release, -Geisha'. As well as gaining mass critical acclaim in the pair's native UK, -Geisha' grabbed the attention of French imprint Kitsuné, who used it as the climactic piece of music for the 14th in their series of prestigious compilations.  

 

In February 2015, they signed to Wolf Tone, the record label founded by hugely successful producer Paul Epworth and home to Glass Animals, and began work on their forthcoming debut album at the famous Church studios in North London's Crouch End. Ahead of that there is Plaitum's debut EP, an introduction to the world of Plaitum; world of obsession and death, sex and psychosis perpetuating a charged, dark electronic pop.
