Peking Duk Stranger ft. Elliphant Video

Australian duo, Peking Duk, have today released the video for their single -Stranger' feat. Elliphant. The video was created by US production house Chisel Pixel (Sia -Alive', -Cheap Thrills') and directed by Lior Molcho.

Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles of Peking Duk remarked on how the storyline was developed:

"The concept for the video came together as soon as we finished the lyrics. We were at a pub in Stockholm with Elli thinking of different ideas for which way the video's story should go. We quickly gravitated towards the simple idea of following the story in the lyrics... We wanted to capture the feeling that everyone has felt at least once at the end of a big night. We wanted to reproduce those times where you want to keep the night going, and preferably with someone else riding that same wave as you. When it's done right it can be magical.

Lyrically 'Stranger' sums up how comfortable it can actually be, realising the city around you is getting up, whilst, at the time you have no cares in the world. A big night followed into a sunrise can be one of the most inspiring occasions one can experience."

The duo go on to further explain:

"To make it lighter and truly show everyone how we see the story, we decided to use physical dog actors instead of humans. Deep down inside we're all dogs. We are stoked with how quickly it came together!"

Produced by Peking Duk and written in conjunction with Swedish artist Elliphant, -Stranger' has already been streamed over 3.5M times, being certified GOLD, hitting #1 on the ARIA Australian Artists Singles Chart, #3 on the Australian Shazam chart and #5 on the Airplay Chart in the process. -Stranger' was the most added track at Australian radio in its first week and follows the success of 3 x Platinum hit singles -High' feat. Nicole Millar and -Take Me Over', as well as their Gold accredited hit, -Say My Name'. Elliphant was recently in Australia and teamed up with Peking Duk for a performance of -Stranger' at Newcastle's This That Festival earlier this month.
