With tickets moving fast to Ngaiire's forthcoming national album tour, kicking off this June, today sees the queen of future soul release 'House On A Rock', the third instalment from her highly anticipated sophomore album Blastoma. Due for release on Thurs 26 May via her own label, Maximilian Brown, with 'House On A Rock' Ngaiire continues the story of survival against all odds that started with previous singles 'Once', 'Diggin' and recent teaser track 'I Can't Hear God Anymore'.
On Blastoma, Ngaiire worked with long time collaborators Paul Mac and Jack Grace, and also called in new friend Megan Washington for her contribution. On this album, Ngaiire continues to prove herself as a songwriting powerhouse and vocal force to be reckoned with.
Fresh off the Groovin the Moo tour and with Splendour in the Grass and a sold out Leon Bridges support slot on its way, Ngaiire will be joined on her forthcoming tour by special guests Melbourne producer and multi-instrumentalist LANKS - who has just come off his own headline tour supporting his Hype Machine topping single, 'Golden Age' - as well as co-collaborator, and one half of Blastoma's production team Jack Grace.
With various festivals under her belt including Glastonbury, CMJ and Falls Festival, last year Ngaiire soulfully interpreted the Tame Impala single 'The Less I Know The Better' for triple j's Like a Version.
