Well as it turns out, she credits berries as one of may be her secrets! The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress confessed that her beauty regime starts with berries, kale and an apple smoothie for brekkie.
Blueberry Energiser Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup (125 ml) coconut water**
3 x 125 g punnets fresh blueberries
1/2 avocado
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup (125 ml) coconut yoghurt
1 tablespoon LSA
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
Mix the chia seeds and coconut water together in a small bowl. Set aside for 10¬–15 minutes, until the seeds absorb the liquid and swell.
Combine the chia seeds and the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
**Coconut water and coconut yoghurt can be found at health food stores and select major supermarkets
**For a dairy version, substitute milk and natural yoghurt for the coconut water and yoghurt.
