Ballad to the North Wind is a duel project; a book and a music album consisting 7 covers of songs mentioned in the book and one original song - "Ballad to the North Wind" written by Liz Barak.
The book talks about an indie singer-songwriter living in London during the 90's called Layla and her love story with a Scottish juggler names Erik.
The album is built from the collaboration of over 40 different female musicians around the globe creating together a magnificent picture of women in music. The book is available on all Amazon stores and the album is available for download on all platforms.

More about Liz:
Liz Barak is a composer, guitarist, music producer, audio engineer, and author. She has lived and performed for years in London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. She has a Composition/Music Production bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston and a Contemporary Composition degree from the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. In the past years, she was chief audio engineer in Germany's biggest circus, Circus Roncalli and she recently moved back to Israel where she teaches music and music production at a local college. Her artistic goals are to tell stories through music and help reach a muchneeded equality in the music industry for women.
