Lisa Mitchell Dreaming, Swimming

Australian singer-songwriter Lisa Mitchell has just released her brand new single "Dreaming, Swimming" taken from her upcoming fourth studio album A Place To Fall Apart scheduled for release on April 22nd via Believe.

Providing a dreamy soundscape that underpins Lisa's perfect, wistful vocals as always is the latest track "Dreaming, Swimming," a gentle track that is finding ground in her natural progression,  she is remaining faithful to the fundamental sonics tied to her honoured style.

Speaking on the track Lisa said, "Dreaming, Swimming is inspired by the melancholy of unrequited love. I was learning a piano song by Dutch pianist, Joep Beving, around that time, which influenced the piano playing-style. This arrangement always stops me in my tracks - my band mates Kishore Ryan ( drums ) and Jessie Warren created such stunning parts for this song."

Mitchell's fourth album A Place To Fall Apart to be released April 22 is anticipated to be a glorious and heartrending tribute to what it means to be alive and learning in the world, having been old enough to feel it's bruises and heartbreaks, but also be at the beginning of understanding our own individual insignificance within it. Accompanied by her beguiling melodies and hushed tones, the lyrics within the album are deeply introspective and impactful, written in the thick of the first year of a global pandemic that forced everyone's lives and spheres to become very small and very still.

Lisa has announced details of her new album A Place To Fall Apart along with the accompanying Album Launch Tour starting Friday May 20 in Red Hill. A Place To Fall Apart is produced by Tom Iansek (Big Scary / #1Dads) and features the new single "I Believe In Kindness" and "Zombie." The album will be released digitally and vinyl on April 22.
