Sunshine-evoking producer and purveyor of tropical trap, L D R U is back, and he is bringing an early summer with him. Named after his forthcoming single, 'Keeping Score' (out 25th September), L D R U today announces his first national headline tour since 2013, proving that one half of imitable talent Carmada is a force to be reckoned with in his own right.
To celebrate his return, L D R U is also offering up a free download track, 'Pop That (Instrumental)' which is a taste of great things to come for the Northern Beaches producer.
After bursting on the scene and gaining Australian and international acclaim with his infectious hit 'The Tropics', via Future Classic, Drew Carmody (aka L D R U) cemented his status as -One To Watch' with 2014's sonic anthem -Give It All' and reworks of Flume, Lorde, Miami Horror and Broods. Joining forces with fellow tropical-bass-storm Yahtzel to produce the collaborative project Carmada, their first single -Maybe' dominated Australia's radio airwaves and charts, resulting in a gold record for the duo. Their EP -Realise' debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Charts. Now with 'Keeping Score' set for release and new music being worked on, there are big things on the way for this incredible talent.
