How would you describe your music?
Unique, fusion of styles and a trend setter
Can you tell us about your new album? What was the inspiration?
I don't do albums as I feel in this new age of streaming that albums don't work so instead having a steady stream of songs coming out makes you feel fresh and helps keep you in the spotlight. However my inspiration for music comes from the love of the art from as I'm a very creative individual. And with Lambo Club I wanted something a little bit easier listen to and be catchy for repeat value rather than having to repeat songs over and over to catch my bars and what I'm saying. I like to fuse different styles of music into one.
What are your musical influences?
Plenty, my fave Rrapper is 50 cent, however Krayzie Bone from Bone Thugs inspires me a lot with his melodic flow and Rrhythm changes and Twista for his unorthodox rhyming schemes and patterns, also Eminem for his lyricism and word play and the way he bends words.
Do you prefer performing live or recording?
I enjoy both for different reasons.
What should we expect from your upcoming tour?
What is the story behind the band name?
How did the band come together?
What motivates you most when writing music?
Which music/artists are you currently listening to?
What or who was your inspiration to go into the music industry?
I always had a knack for writing and acting as my mind constantly working long overtime thinking about words and scenes for shows and movies. For example I come up with a line while I freestyle like "my bars go swoosh over your head like a cap from Nike" and say how can I add some other brand in there that makes sense and so I bend worlds like "add the destroy of words" and pronounce it like "Ad Di Dastroyer of words" and you get Adidas. Things like that I love doing because it subtle and not alot of people pick it up.
If you could collaborate with another artist, who would it be?
I really want to make songs with the people I grew up with. But I would love to get a colab with 50 Cent but I'm happy with any rapper I call a legend. Also love to do a song with the Omega Queen as her voice is on another level.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced in the music industry?
Biggest challenge is Australian hip hop is not global and really doesn't have it's own sound so people don't recognise it as say the UK with its grime and drill sub genres so i'm making my own sound that's suits my accent that's a global thing and now it's already hit the US and Ghana and they all love it, first week alone it has over 450000 streams
What's next, for you?
More music, and I'm working on a TV series crime drama which I have the intro music for.
