Jessie Hillel Good Grades

Jessie Hillel is a Melbourne-based singer-songwriter whose young age belies her deft songwriting skills and master ful vocal delivery. At only 18, this old soul crafts songs of emotional intricacy and candid imagery which give the listener glimpses in to private moments while also speaking to universal truths of the human condition.

Taking influences from jazz, soul, R & B, pop and classical forms and injecting them in to decidedly modern productions, Jessie delivers songs which seem immediately like old friends whilst keeping her finger firmly on today's pulse. Her mellifluous vocal performances, while always engaging - and often stunning - in their delivery, never abandon vulnerability and authentic emotional connection.
