Accessories designer Jessica Bratich, who is known for her metal and texture inspired bags, is expanding her reach to the Australia's East Coast, with her latest collection now available in Melbourne.

An already successful brand in Western Australia, the first Jessica Bratich collection was launched at the Perth Fashion Festival Week in 2012 and the label has shown there multiple times since. That same year, a collaboration with another Australian designer saw Jessica's designs shown at the New York Fashion week, where she received a fantastic response. The label has also taken to the runway at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.

Now, Bratich is growing her presence in the Melbourne and Sydney markets and showing the Jessica Bratich brand as a leading Australian accessories label.

The self-titled brand started as a result of Bratich herself being unable to find a stylish but affordable handbag that she could wear every day. Wanting to fill this gap in the market, she created Jessica Bratich the label.

Finding success in her stylish but wearable bags and clutches; and with personalities like former Spice Girl Mel B, 'The Face Australia" winner Olivia Donaldson and Mad Max actress Courtney Eaton seen wearing her designs, Bratich wasted no time in expanding her range. The label now includes scarves and sterling silver jewellery.

In Melbourne Jessica Bratich handbags, clutches, and jewellery can be now found at the Gusto & Elan boutique on Brunswick St, nestled among other Australian names like Zhivago and Elliott Label.
