Melbourne's cult band of Jazz punks, connoisseurs of classic and neo soul, RnB and contemporary vibes Jazz Party are thrilled to reveal their highly anticipated debut album Monday Night set to be released worldwide Friday 3rd of November. Celebrations will ensue Saturday 11 November at The Croxton Bandroom where the eight-piece will officially launch the LP with their biggest party yet – complete with special guests galore.
Already released singles Rock n Roll Graveyard and Talking In Your Sleep, Drowning was recorded live by album producer Steven Schram and showcases the staggering finesse of bandleader and sole songwriter Darcy McNulty in an impeccable taste of what's to come on Jazz Party's debut album Monday Night.
"We make the music we want and people happen to really respond to it. It was the most fun I've had in a studio setting and we're really proud of this as our debut." – Darcy McNulty
After headlining New Years Evie and rousing the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheater into a frenzy at Golden Plains, as well as supporting New Orleans Grammy nominated jazz-funk band The Hot 8 Brass Band, Melbourne' self-proclaimed Monday night secret society is now anything but a secret, having just finished another truly wild month long residency at their spiritual home of The Curtin. Finally the group of eight, well-dressed party enthusiasts invite you to be a part of the Jazz Party legacy when they launch their long awaited debut album Monday Night at Melbourne's Croxton Bandroom and Brisbane's Flamin' Galah this November.
