Jackmann All Or Nothing

Jackmann All Or Nothing

All Or Nothing is the third single for Melbourne based solo artist, Jackmann, from the forthcoming debut LP, Low Key (available September 11, 2020, via MGM). Following on from 'Not A Bad Person' and 'The Wolf and The Hare', All Or Nothing presents an honest take on the complications of love, told through Kris Schroeder's bolstering, rich baritone vocal, accompanied by masterful instrumentation.

Recorded over a weekend at Abbey Road Studios with producer Sam Okell (Grammy and Emmy winner for his work with PJ Harvey, Graham Coxon and The Beatles).

"All or Nothing reflects that sad situation of being caught between someone you have feelings for, and someone who has feelings for you. A love triangle, I guess. There are all sorts of guilt and indecision going on - but life needs an answer, and ultimately nobody wins," Kris explains.

"That backbeat, the clipped chop of the rhythm and the vocal sound all combine to produce a great 70s sound, with some magical guitar playing. There's a certain toughness to the sound that works well as the piano hammers out notes like a wired and poetically belligerent barfly." Doubtful Sounds
