To celebrate the launch of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey, Porteno's Ben Milgate and Elvis Brahanoqic, have created a variety of mouth-watering creations. Inspired by Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey, the chefs have created six different dishes from their famous fire pit; making a bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey the ultimate cooking and party accessory.
Ingredients
Snow:
750ml Boiling Water
5 x Heaped tblsp instant coffee
225g White Sugar
175ml JD Honey
Chocolate and Banana Cream:
1 x large ripe banana
250g dark chocolate (broken into pieces)
3 cups thickened cream
Method
Snow:
In a bowl, place boiling water and add coffee and sugar. Stir and let stand for five minutes.
Stir in the JD Honey
Place in a plastic container and place in the freezer
Stir with a whisk every couple of hours until the desired snow texture is achieved.
Chocolate and Banana Cream:
Roast banana in the oven at 180 for 15 minutes. Scoop out the flesh, puree and set aside.
Place chocolate pieces in a bowl, set aside
In a pan, bring cream to the boil and pour over the chocolate. Gently mix together until thoroughly combined. Stir in banana puree
Once cooled, spoon the cream into dessert wine glasses and top with JD Snow.
