Gunns Who's Gonna Be Your Dog

Touters of dreamy surf-pop, Gunns return today with new single -Who's Gonna Be Your Dog.' Not content to live that laid-back surf lifestyle, the WA four-piece are about to join Strokes legend Albert Hammond Jnr. on his first ever Australian headline tour, before unveiling their debut EP -She's A Rainbow', on February 12th via Spinning Top Records.

Featuring title track -She's A Rainbow' and glittering gem -The Fool,' which have collectively clocked over 150K SoundCloud streams, the 5-track debut explores themes of love, shadows of old friendships and end of the world theories. Perth artist Luisa Hansel is responsible for the EP artwork, inspired by one of her pieces fittingly titled -Space Rainbow'. Leashed to ricocheting guitar riffs, latest single -Who's Gonna Be Your Dog' burns through slowly raspy vocals before winding into dangerously flirtatious keys.

Gunns performance history is already extensive, having toured nationally with both indie darlings The Preatures and San Cisco in 2014, all whilst releasing a split 7" with good mates HAMJAM. Busy playing a number of shows around their hometown, including Perth's WAM Festival, where they were nominated for -Best Pop Act' and -Best Bassist' at the 2014 WAM Awards, the four-piece are set to support Fremantle friends San Cisco again this March for the new WA summer concert series -Sunset Sounds.'

Don't miss their amazing live act, as they join Strokes guitarist and singer/songwriter Albert Hammond Jr. as he tours the East coast in support of third solo album 'Momentary Masters,' released last year to global acclaim.
