Winner Renée Zellweger chose to wear a custom Armani Privé white silk, one-shoulder column gown with an open asymmetrical neckline accented by a crystal-embroidered tubular detail. The luminous gown, highlighted with a singular dramatic long sleeve, is entirely embroidered in clear paillettes and beads with subtle pale pink and blue thread detail. Zellweger won Best Actress in a Leading Role for her work in "Judy."
Winner Laura Dern wore a custom Armani Privé blush pink silk crepe gown with a full skirt that sweeps into a train. The top of the gown is adorned in black crystal embroidery and ornamental tassels. Dern won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in "Marriage Story." She attended with her mother, Academy Award nominee Diane Ladd, who wore a Giorgio Armani black velvet tuxedo with a white ruffle blouse.
Nominee Kathy Bates wore a Giorgio Armani black one-button silk crepe shawl collar tuxedo along with a navy blue silk blouse. The jacket features a navy blue satin trim detail on the lapel. Bates was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in "Richard Jewell."
Nominee Leonardo DiCaprio selected a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure midnight blue onebutton peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in grosgrain along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. DiCaprio was nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in "Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood."
Nominee Martin Scorsese selected a Giorgio Armani Made to Measure navy blue one-button peak lapel three-piece tuxedo trimmed in satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Scorsese was nominated for Best Director for the "The Irishman." The film was also nominated for Best Picture.

The jacket features a tone-on-tone velvet dotted pattern. Taupin won Best Original Song for "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" from "Rocketman."
