Florence Hall Interview

Florence Hall Interview

Florence Hall

Florence Hall trained as an actress in London whilst she grew up but she decided that the singing whilst playing her guitar was more her scene. Florence played in dark venues throughout the crazy London city with her band D^coda. After that particular band ended she headed to New York City for the thrill of performing in Manhattan venues for three months. Whilst in Manhattan Florence was able to play at the CBGB, prior to it's closure.

Florence Hall's EP titled 'Loop' is a mixture of smooth vocals that are soft and harmonious layered over the top of powerful electronic beats, giving the music an original flare that many musicians wish they could create for their own tracks.

The second song on the EP, "Waxed Heart" really shows off Hall's talent. The electronic beats are replaced with guitar strumming and Hall's melodious voice, allowing you to soak up every word. Loop proves Florence Hall has her own style when it comes to making music and she is not afraid to explore it in her tracks.
