Finding Faith Self-Titled Debut Album

Finding Faith Self-Titled Debut Album

Human Nature's Andrew Tierney and Canadian worship pastor Timothy Dunfield

Today sees the debut self-titled album release from Finding Faith, with the ensemble comprised of Human Nature's Andrew Tierney and Canadian worship pastor Timothy Dunfield.

The 12-track debut (produced by Nick Radovanovic) features ten original songs written by both Tierney and Dunfield, and is full of incredible songs expressing the duo's desire to bring a new and unique voice to contemporary Christian music. The album also includes covers of Van Morrison's If I Ever Needed Someone and Hillsong Worship's Cornerstone. Of the original songs, God Is Amazing, is currently #16 on the TCM national airplay chart for Australian Christian radio, Precious Life garnered national airplay around the birth of the royal baby. Current single Good Hands sprung from the idea that we live in a world where we see so many terrible things, tragedies and trials.

"The gospel-infused lyrics of Good Hands serve as a hopeful reminder that no matter what we've been through, are going through or will face, we are never alone," Andrew explains.

All these songs present the duo's trademark soaring vocals plus a sound rooted in contemporary acoustic pop.

The charming duo will be making their debut promotional visit in Australia from June 5th to promote the release of their self-titled debut album. Fans in Sydney will be able to catch the band performing live on Saturday June 9th from 11am – 2:00pm at Koorong's 40th birthday celebrations in West Ryde.

Finding Faith's debut album will also be released internationally via the Provident Music Group, a division of Sony Music. Finding Faith has signed a publishing agreement with SHOUT! Music Publishing, a division of Hillsong.

Andrew Tierney is the founding member of the Australian pop icon Human Nature, the vocal ensemble that has recorded 12 albums including four #1s, plus scored 17 chart-breaking singles. In the past decade, the group has continued their chart topping international success residing in the US courtesy of their critically acclaimed headlining Las Vegas residency at The Venetian. Andrew remains in Human Nature in addition to Finding Faith.

Timothy Dunfield is the worship/teaching pastor at Sin City Church, Las Vegas. Dunfield has lead a nomadic life via his Canadian missionary parents; born in Boston, raised in Hong Kong, Singapore and Canada before settling in Las Vegas 17 years ago.

Both men have cherished families and began writing and performing together more than two years ago at the South Hills Church where Andrew continues to attend and Tim was worship pastor. The unlikely musical pairing in Las Vegas has now become Finding Faith thanks to the signing of the duo to Tierney's label home of 23 years by Denis Handlin, Chairman & CEO Sony Music Australia and has lead to US release commitment by Sony Music's leading Christian music label in the US Provident.
