Fascinator Time To Go

New York-based, Australia-bred eccentric Johnny Mackay aka Fascinator has unveiled the striking visual translation for -Time To Go,' the third track off debut album -Man,' co-produced by Darren Seltmann (The Avalanches) and released today via Spinning Top Records. Fascinator will showcase his vivacious live set next week, performing at the infamous Sydney and Melbourne Laneway Festival after parties.

Following playful videos -Dead Of The Night' and -The Traveller', -Time To Go' detours from Fascinator's recent untamed aesthetic. The feeling invoked from the self-directed video is both alluring and captivating; imbued with shades of blue, it's an intimate and bold piece of work.

Calling in friend and Avalanches founding member Darren Seltmann to co-produce, -Man' is the self-described 'record that defines Fascinator", and was conceived between Sydney's Newtown and the NSW Blue Mountains region. Considered his most experimental offering to date, the album follows two EPs, -Birth' and -Earth' entirely written, recorded and produced by Mackay.

Earlier this year he performed with Kirin J Callinan, opening for Tame Impala at two sold-out shows at Los Angeles' Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Accompanying his Laneway Festival after party appearances, Fascinator will stepping into voracious live persona supporting Mandek Penha on February 2^nd at the Workers Club, Melbourne, followed by his official album launch at Mojos Bar Perth, February 10^th.
