EVERY LITTLE THING has been nominated for the 2025 AACTA Award for Best Documentary. SYNOPSIS: A woman in Hollywood cares for injured hummingbirds, experiencing personal growth as she witnesses their fragility and resilience.

Featuring breathtaking slow motion macro photography capturing the antics and personalities of hummingbirds, the simple and profound effects of caring for these creatures on human connection and wellbeing are highlighted, reminding audiences that sometimes the smallest things can make the biggest impact.

Terry Maeser has been rescuing hummingbirds in Southern California since 2004. Los Angeles Hummingbird Rescue receives thousands of calls annually from individuals and wildlife centres throughout the United States. In the 2016 nesting season, Terry and a network of dedicated volunteers rescued 1000 orphaned and injured hummingbirds. During the past two decades, Southern California hummingbird rescuers have released over 10,000 rehabilitated young adults from seven species back into the wild.
