Death By Denim Cause A Scene

Death By Denim Cause A Scene

Perth's indie four-piece Death by Denim are back and determined to get you on the dancefloor with their new single & clip 'Cause A Scene', a pulsating and high energy party-starter.

The track, which premiered on triple j's Good Nights, was inspired by the various instances of social and environmental activism seen over the past few years and the need for significant reform-where it's not enough to stand and commentate from the sidelines, you've got to cause a scene.

To coincide with the single Death by Denim have released a clip, which is a nostalgic look at what life was like on the road. Premiering on Life Without Andy, the band explain the new clip, "Playing live shows and touring especially is what we as a band love doing more than anything else. With the fragility of the current situation, we wanted to give our fans an insight into what it's like being on the road with us, it's a lot of fun! The video was shot by Dan Hildebrand who has been working with us for a while now and he really captured the chaotic energy of the song through the video."

'Cause a Scene' is the follow-up to previous single 'Small World', both tracks a taste of what to expect from their sophomore album out early 2022. They follow a string of successful releases last year, with Death by Denim having three songs added to high rotation on triple j from their debut album and seeing fan favourites 'Cigarettes and Honey' and 'Wiggy' both surpass1 million streams on Spotify. 2020 also saw them signing to Paradigm Talent Agency as well as being part of a select few to showcase at BIGSOUND 50 and SXSW's first digital festival.
