Dean Regan Give My Regards to Broadway

Dean Regan, a triple-threat concert artist and a recipient of both the Garland and Drama-Logue Awards, has released his debut studio recording, "Give My Regards to Broadway". The fully orchestrated repertoire was culled from Regan's favorite theater compositions, several of which he has performed in productions on Broadway and across the country. The recording is a mini - history of American musicals including works from Stephen Sondheim, Frank Loesser, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Andrew Lloyd Weber and Stephen Schwartz, among others, with orchestrations by Nick Fryman. The CD was a labor of love for Regan, whose career includes the Broadway production and National Tour of The Pirates of Penzance, and award winning performances in the Los Angeles productions of Company (Regan received both a Garland and Drama-Logue Award for the role of "Bobby") and Cabaret (a Garland award for his role as the iconic "Emcee"). He has performed at the White House, and in many regional productions of plays and musicals including Equus, Burn This, Kiss Me Kate, Once Upon a Mattress and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Regan was seduced by Los Angeles one spring and stayed. There, in addition to theater, he has co-starred in episodic television as well as sixty-six episodes of the soap, Secrets, which he also produced through The Weatherford Group, a successful Hollywood production company he founded. He was the founding Artistic Director of the Hollywood Repertory Company. Recently, Regan changed his focus to concert performing, building a busy calendar which includes Performing Arts Centers, Universities, and private and corporate bookings nationwide. He offers several musical programs for solo piano, trio and sextet.
