Melbourne band Darlinghurst fresh off the back of their highly successful and first visit to the Tamworth Country Music Festival release their third single "Picture Frame".
Darlinghurst have been turning heads ever since the success of their debut single "Sorry Won't Get You Back", reaching #1 on the Australian Country HOT 50 radio, followed by "So Long So Long" hitting #5. Over at the Country Music Channel both music videos charted in the top 20 with "So Long So Long" peaking at #17.
Produced by Pete Dacey and band member Jason Resch at Secret Sound Studios, Darlinghurst describe "Picture Frame" as an ode to how we "hold onto the past through captured moments in time, when holding onto the present is no longer an option." Writing from a deeply personal but universally ascribable place, Darlinghurst offers a comforting hand to anyone who has ever experienced the breakdown of a relationship or the loss of someone close to them; those who know what it feels like when love is reduced to a beautifully painful memory.
Once the Australian live scene re-opens up Darlinghurst will resume touring. Shows are already confirmed with Casey Barnes on October 8 at the Workers Geelong VIC and October 10 at The Spotted Mallard Brunswick VIC.
"Picture Frame", the 3rd single from Darlinghurst's forthcoming debut album, is out NOW on Helium through MGM Distribution.
The Darlinghurst ride continues!
