Accomplished Melbourne artist Clio recently lifted the epic title track -Something Left To Leave Behind' from her forthcoming debut EP, and is excited to now present a stunning live video accompaniment. With intimate live shows just around the corner, the new video draws back the curtain on what is to be expected when Clio and her incredible band hit Melbourne and Castlemaine venues at the end of this month, before taking off to the other side of the world play some shows in the UK.
With class and ease, the highly trained classicist Clio Renner performs a stripped back yet polished live take on her new single, leaving absolutely nothing behind in her honest delivery. Shot by the accomplished team at Banalarama Studios, the video is unpretentious, simple and stunning, paying close attention to the subtle nuisances within both the song itself and its performers. Backed by seasoned musicians Marty Holoubek, Hudson Whitlock (Cactus Channel), Georgie Darvidis and Hannah Cameron, the video showcases the effortless finesse of Clio and her band, serving as a teaser for their forthcoming stint of live shows.
A master of her craft, Clio has spent the last three years playing keys for the SBS Rockwiz band, and touring with the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Deborah Conway, and Tim Rogers. Now the polished and refined young musician is ready to take center stage when she launches her latest solo endeavour with Jim Lawrie and War Plane in Melbourne and Hannah Cameron in Castlemaine.
