Since 1975, Chantal Thomass has revolutionised undergarments by creating truly desirable, seductively hedonistic French lingerie, almost as delicious as freshly baked macarons.
Now in its 39th year, Chantal Thomass will be launching in David Jones's Elizabeth St Store this coming September. Her latest collection, inspired by the Roaring Twenties in crazy Paris, is currently available in selected boutique stores.
In 2004 Chantal Thomass opened her first boutique in the iconic luxury street Rue Saint Honoré, in the heart of Paris. Her pink and black boudoir boutique is an homage to her distinctive style and creative universe.
Iconic French Designer Chantal Thomass was born in 1947 in Paris, decided to create her own lingerie label in 1975, after success of her eponymous label which Brigitte Bardot was an admirer.
Chantal Thomass always differed from more classic designers, she preferred more masculine fabrics like silks and manly trimmings and was the first lingerie designer to reintroducing the traditional guepiere and garter belts in her collections.
