2021 Golden Guitar nominee Cass Hopetoun has today released 'Live a Little', her uplifting new single all about "breaking out of routine and enjoying life to the fullest."
With most of the east coast of Australia in and out of lockdowns, 'Live a Little' is a song of hope in a time of doubt. Written by Blake Dantier and produced by Matt Fell at Love Hz Studios, it's the sound of yearning to let loose. Hopetoun says "I constantly have that voice in the back of my head wanting to play it safe but, I have an even louder one telling that voice to shhhh! I think the song also touches on trying to live a 'perfect life' but, there isn't one - all you can do is get out there and live it to the fullest. I know sitting here in lockdowns I'm dreaming more than ever of when we'll be able to get out there and enjoy all the crazy adventures and YOLO moments!"
Hopetoun's career is booming. She has released four singles since early 2020, three of them reaching Top 10 on TMN CountryTown Hot 50 airplay charts, with 'Typical Bride' hitting the No.1 spot. 'Who Needs Hawaii' reached No.1 on CMT's Top 50 Most Played charts and 'Say the Word' - her hit duet with Golden Guitar winning Andrew Swift – peaked at No.3 on TMN CountryTown Hot 50 airplay charts. She was also nominated for Best New Talent at the 2021 Golden Guitar awards and has won two TSA Awards.
