Inspired by the change in seasons, the latest releases for Annie's Lane are designed to be enjoyed during any relaxed occasion with family and friends and a lovely choice to sip on around the fireplace while enjoying a range of delectable traditional hearty meals.

Vibrant red in colour, the Annie's Lane Shiraz 2008 comes from a remarkable vintage in Clare Valley- delivering a luscious assortment of red berry fruit, deep plums, pepper and black olives. Matured in a combination of American and French oak barrels, this elegant medium bodies Shiraz is delicately balanced by subtle oak integration with hints of chocolate, herbs and dried spices. Ideal to enjoy in a warm environment sheltered from the chilly outdoors, the 2008 Shiraz is best served with winter favourites such as lamb shanks, potato mash and braised spinach or enjoy on release with delicious barbequed steaks, autumn roasted vegetables an fresh tomato chutney.

From that day Annie, a stalwart of Clare Valley folklore, was to be remembered for her inimitable services to the vineyard workers of the region.
