Abstract imagery collides with big pop hooks and a classic sense of melody on the Alex Watts' new single, -Cool Change'. The song is the second track to be taken from the Melbourne singer's forthcoming debut album, following the release of -Hopeful' and its eye catching video back in April.
 
Taking an entirely different approach than the soul strut of the previous single, -Cool Change' showcases Watts' eclectic tastes by embracing -90s guitar pop. The lyrics convey a sense of unease about the shifting borders of a relationship and will form part of a song cycle on the album.
 
The song has been given a lyric video created by Lucy McCallum of Third Ray Productions and features the artwork of Ben Montero.
