Just days after releasing their newest album Limitless (Portrait / Sony Music Masterworks), The Piano Guys today share a new visual for their take on "A Million Dreams," a musical number from the award-winning film The Greatest Showman. The latest instalment in the Utah quartet's hugely popular catalogue of music videos, "A Million Dreams" perfectly captures the spirit of their new album. Inspired by the film's story of possibility and hope, the video follows a young boy's dream of the concert stage as it slowly becomes reality – watch here.
Pianist/songwriter Jon Schmidt says: "I went and watched The Greatest Showman with the family. As we left, my kids just looked at me and said, 'Dad, you've got to do an arrangement of this tune.' I had a great motivation to make my kids happy as I arranged the song, and I put a lot of love into that arrangement. I'm really proud of how that piano solo turned out. We hope you enjoy it!"
Upon its release last Friday, LIMITLESS catapulted to the top of the charts, holding the No. 1 spot on iTunes, Apple Music and Amazon classical charts. With over 28 million digital streams worldwide, the newest release from The Piano Guys lives up to the name LIMITLESS as the foursome once again leap past boundaries for the 13-track collection. LIMITLESS features the guys' take on the latest pop hits – from Shawn Mendes to Ed Sheeran to Coldplay and The Chainsmokers, The Piano Guys continue to break new ground, even exploring the K-Pop world with two BTS covers. Rounding out the collection are two tracks from the box office hit The Greatest Showman as well as four new original compositions, culminating in a diverse new album with massive multigenerational appeal.
