YBN CORDAE The Lost Boy Tour

YBN CORDAE The Lost Boy Tour

One of rap music's most nimble and acrobatic storytellers YBN CORDAE today announces Australian dates for The Lost Boy Tour, while in the country for Groovin' The Moo this April/May. The 22-year-old rapper will perform four headline shows starting in Perth at Freo.Social on Monday, April 27 before heading to 170 Russell in Melbourne, 256 Wickham in Brisbane and Max Watts in Sydney.

Raised in Maryland, the now Los Angeles-based MC is a consummate 21st century storyteller, affirmed not only by his 200 million+ streams and collaborations with Anderson .Paak, Dr Dre and Chance the Rapper but countless features, including XXL magazine's cover star of their 2019 'Freshman Class'. Recognising, respecting, and revering the verbal potential for unity, his acrobatic raps, cinematic wordplay, and nimble rhymes have garnered him praise and attracted fans all over the world.

On his full-length debut, "The Lost Boy" [out via Warner Music Australia/Atlantic Records], he employs the full power of language. After teasing the project with the cathedral-size raps 'Have Mercy,' which amassed 25 million Spotify streams, and his single 'Bad Idea', which featured Chance the Rapper [feat. Chance the Rapper], he unleashed the follow-up 'RNP' [feat. Anderson Paak] with production by J. Cole – setting the stage for a major mainstream breakthrough in 2019.

Born to a 16-year-old mother in Raleigh, NC, he wrote his first rhyme at just four-years-old. Settling in Maryland after spending his formative years in North Carolina at his grandma's trailer, he rapped on-command at school. At the age of 15, he began collecting, trading, and buying sneakers, saving up enough money to purchase a home studio. During 2017, he linked up with YBN in between attending Towson University and waiting tables. A year later, he dropped out of college as his remix of Eminem's 'My Name Is' and 'Old ******' exploded virally. In the aftermath, Cordae's debut single "Kung Fu" popped off with 77 million Spotify streams in less than 12 months.

He's been pegged "one of music's most promising rising stars" by The Wall Street Journal and touted on Complex's "The Best New Artists of 2018," he landed on "Artist to Watch" lists from Amazon Music, New York Times, Billboard, iHeart Radio, and VEVO DSCVR. Get up close and personal with YBN Cordae this April/May – touring nationally throughout Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.
