Worst Year for Kids with Allergies
Leading GP, Dr Ginni Mansberg says this is the worst year she has seen for seasonal allergy symptoms since beginning her career nearly 20 years ago.
"Lots of the mums I see are tearing their hair out right now with kids who have allergies and asthma and I am getting the same feedback from specialists," Dr Mansberg says.
Dr Mansberg recommends Kids Fish Oil supplements to parents of children who suffer from allergies. Fish oil contains large amounts of Omega 3, which is a polyunsaturated fat. "Kids Fish Oil supplements help with allergy problems because polyunsaturated fats are anti-inflammatory and hayfever, asthma and eczema are inflammatory conditions," Dr Mansberg says.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics states that one out of five Australian children suffers from respiratory problems and Dr Mansberg believes this figure is on the rise. "I have many, many parents coming to me to seek advice on managing their child's asthma," she says.
Allergic conditions are looking to get even worse over time. Recent research suggests that respiratory allergies will be exacerbated as higher CO2 concentrations lead to increases in the production of ragweed pollen.
Dr Mansberg says Kids Fish Oil supplements are not a quick fix for children suffering from allergies, but when used as a part of a daily routine have been proven to be very effective. "Many of my young patients' parents have reported a noticeable difference in their child's health after incorporating Kids Fish Oil supplements into their daily routine."
