Uniden releases Smart Baby Monitor in 2K Super HD resolution with Pan & Tilt Camera and Customisable Night Light​

Uniden has expanded its award-winning Baby Watch baby monitor range with the new BW6181R, offering parents another solution to keep an eye on newborns and toddlers.

The Uniden BW6181R baby monitor features smart, Wi-Fi enabled Super HD 2K camera with dual mode functionality enabling parents to watch from the 5" HD monitor. The purpose made Baby Watch Plus App allows access to live footage remotely from smartphones or tablet devices from any location, including within the home or while travelling.

Significant and noteworthy camera upgrades have been made on the BW6181R providing a 2K technology (3MP) Super HD Camera for crystal clear viewing. The baby monitor camera has up to 4 x local digital zoom and 6 x remote digital zoom, making it even easier to observe the baby and its surroundings in closer detail.

The BW6181R also includes a 355-degree pan and 66-degree tilt camera which can be controlled using the display screen, or remotely through the Baby Watch Plus App, to change the viewing angle and capture every corner of the room. It is is easy to set up and can be effortlessly moved from room to room. The BW6181R comes with a cute removable, silicone cover with novelty ears to help the camera blend into the nursery.

The addition of a Night Light which can illuminate in a rainbow of colours will help soothe your baby to sleep and provides lighting for nappy changes or feeds during the night without being too bright. A soothing night light effect can also assist at a later stage when a child may develop fear of being in the dark during the night or is experiencing separation anxiety.

For extra peace of mind, motion and sound detection can sense if babies make noise or wake from a nap, automatically sending an alert to the user's device. The baby monitor has Room Temperature Display and Room Humidity Display with alerts through the monitor and includes high-quality night vision, which is automatically enabled when darkness is detected for a better view of the baby in the evening or early morning. Parents can also utilise the Danger Zone Detection Mode, with the ability to mark off areas and be notified of activity via the app.

The BW6181R is compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa for easy integration with a smart home setup. The selection of 14 lullabies (plus white noise) and two-way talk capability allows parents to soothe an unsettled baby remotely through their smart device, putting Uniden's Baby Watch range in a class of its own.

Review: Uniden BW6181R Baby Monitor has all the bells and whistles you need.  We love the 355-degree pan and 66-degree tilt camera and zoom features to keep a close on baby while you maximise sleep time.  We also love the night light making it easy to change nappies during the night without waking both of you up fully.  The two way walkie talkie is great if you are in your office and want to soothe baby back to sleep with your voice.  It really has everything you need plus all the things you didn't know you need.
